THE BIANCA CAPPELLO APARTMENT
The apartment, on the second floor of Palazzo Belfiore, is extremely comfortable and furnished with beautiful mix of antique and modern pieces. Its large double bedroom is full of light and has a king size bed (or two single beds by request).This beautiful bright bedroom, which still boasts its original 16th century terracotta tile floor, is perfect for romantic couples on their honeymoon or celebrating an anniversary.The Leon X apartment has two bathrooms with showers, one of which has a little window. An additional single bedroom is situated at the entrance of the apartment. In the sitting room, you will find a comfortable double sofa bed, a fully-equipped kitchen which also has a washing machine, and a lovely eighteenth century fireplace…
THE FRANCESCO DE MEDICI APARTMENT
This beautiful apartment on the ground floor is an ample 54 square meters and offers access for the disabled. It has a spacious living area and dining room with a well-equipped kitchen, a king sized bed (or two single beds by request) and a comfortable Italian sofa bed (which can sleep 2).The large bathroom offers a folding shower seat option for disabled needs. The Francesco de’Medici apartment is perfect for single travelers, those who use wheelchairs or prefer to avoid stairs, and couples with young children. Upon request, we can gladly provide a baby bed for the apartment. As in all of Palazzo Belfiore’s apartments, the Francesco de’ Medici apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette with gas stovetop, microwave, oven, Italian coffee maker and other appliances are available upon request.
THE CLARICE APARTMENT
The Clarice apartment has an elegant and spacious sitting room with a comfortable sofa that doubles as an and easy-to-use double bed, and two armchairs and a coffee table. It also has a handy kitchenette which is tucked behind wooden doors, and a dining table for eating in. Going further into the apartment, you reach the beautiful master bedroom with its two large windows. Adjacent to the bedroom there is a windowed bathroom with a bathtub and a also a washing machine. Through a small door off of the living room up some narrow steps you reach a second bedroom (we like to call it the “secret room”) with two single beds (or, by request, one double bed) and a second bathroom with shower. This little bedroom has a window which looks out onto a courtyard and is particularly quiet. This apartment is especially suitable for a family of up to four.
THE LEONE X APARTMENT

THE COSIMO IL VECCHIO APARTMENT
The Cosimo il Vecchio apartment is 63 square meters and is situated on the second floor. Entering the apartment, the first thing you see is a round dining table illuminated by a skylight installed in the high ceilings. In the hallway leading to the rest of the apartment is a well-equipped kitchen. From there, you walk into a spacious living room with a very comfortable Italian double sofa bed and two large windows. The master bedroom with a double bed lies right around the corner and has a bathroom with shower. Up a wooden staircase from the living room there is also a mezzanine floor with two single beds and a windowed bathroom with a tub. This apartment has retained a touch of its ancient atmosphere and is comfortably furnished with a mix of antique and modern pieces. It is perfect for a family of four to six, or a group of friends.
THE LORENZO DE MEDICI APARTMENT
This beautifully restored apartment is 83 square meters and is the second apartment situated on the first floor. It has numerous windows which let in abundant light. Entering the apartment through a hallway and past a quiet little courtyard area for your private use, you reach a sitting and dining room which are open to a fully-equipped kitchenette. A little door in the front of the hallway reveals a laundry room with a washing machine. Walking on down the hallway through the dining room, you reach a lounge area with a comfortable and easy-to-use double sofa bed. Sliding doors can make this an additional private bedroom if needed. Off of the dining area is the master bedroom with a king-sized bed (or two single beds by request) and a bathroom with a tub. From the dining room going up a wooden stairway, you reach a mezzanine with two single beds (or a double bed by request), a bathroom with shower, a walk-in closet and a storage room.
THE CATERINA DE MEDICI APARTMENT
The Apartment that bears her name is situated on the top floor of Palazzo Belfiore and is the largest of all the seven apartments, measuring approximately 100 square meters. Being on the top floor, abundant light comes in through its numerous windows. This ample space offers a quaint hallway and a spacious dining room and also a fully-equipped kitchen with washing machine, microwave oven and a beautiful eighteenth century fireplace. The apartment has a total of three bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers, one of which also has a small window. The master bedroom has a king-sized double bed (or two single beds by request), and the second bedroom is divided into two floors with one bed on each floor. A single bed is up on the mezzanine floor, from where you have a view across the rooftops of Florence to the dome of the nearby Santo Spirito Church. The third bedroom has two single beds (or one double bed by request). Tastefully decorated with a mix of modern and antique furniture, the Caterina de’Medici apartment is a perfect blend of old and new. This apartment is perfect for a big family or a group of friends.
THE ANNAMARIA LUISA APARTMENT
Just a few steps from Palazzo Belfiore in an 14th Century ex-convent just next to Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti, we have the privilege of offering this quaint apartment named after Anna Maria Luisa de’ Medici: Electress Palatine and last scion of the House of Medici. A patron of the arts, she bequeathed the Medici’s large art collection, including the contents of the Uffizi Museum, Palazzo Pitti and all of the Medicean villas, and her Palatine treasures, all of which she inherited upon her brother Gian Gastone’s death in 1737, to the Tuscan state on the condition that no part of it could be removed from “the Capital of the grand ducal state”, Florence.
The apartment bearing her name is a 75 square meter space situated on the ground floor with its own independent entrance and is divided into a ground floor and an upper mezzanine floor. The ground floor offers a lovely entrance area with a closet and opens into a large sitting and dining room with big windows which allow an incredible amount of light into the apartment.
